Farm Shop Finder does not sell client or customer data — not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. The people who use this app, and the farm shops listed on it, are not the product. Your information stays yours.
Our vision
We want to make it simple for farmers to sell directly to the public. When a farm sells straight to the people who eat its food, almost everything gets better at once — for the grower, for the shopper, and for the land in between.
Cutting out the long supply chain means more of every pound reaches the farmer, not the middle. It means less dependence on distant distributors who set the terms and squeeze the margins. It means far less packaging and far less pollution, because food travels a shorter, simpler road from field to table.
It also means better food. Produce sold directly is fresher, more nutritious, and less processed — food as it should be, not food engineered for shelf life and logistics.
Food sovereignty, returned to the people
Too much of what we eat is shaped by governments and corporations — what gets grown, how it's processed, what reaches the shelf, and what it costs. We believe that decision should sit closer to home: with the farmers who produce food and the communities who rely on it.
By growing the farm-shop network through this app, we're building a route around that manipulation — a direct, local, transparent way to buy real food from real producers. Every new shop on the map, and every shopper who finds one, moves a little more food sovereignty back to the people.
What we're building
The most complete, trustworthy map of UK farm shops — one that helps people find good local food, and helps farm shops be found. That's the whole job. No selling your data, no dark patterns, no hidden agenda: just a growing network that puts farmers and food first.
