Farm Shop Finder exists for one simple reason: great local farm shops are often the hardest to find. We're building the most complete, trustworthy map of farm shops in the UK — so it's easy for people to find real food from real producers near them, and easy for farm shops to be found.
Every listing can be claimed and managed for free by its owner, so the information stays accurate and in the hands of the people who know it best. We show honest numbers, we keep what we publish about people to a minimum, and if any owner wants their listing removed, we make that quick and free — no account, no questions.
Our commitment
We want to be straight with you about how this works and where the money goes.
For the first six months (from launch in [TO BE COMPLETED: profit-commitment start date, e.g. Month Year]), all profits from Farm Shop Finder subscriptions go straight back into advertising the farm shops listed here and growing the platform. Not into our pockets — into getting more customers through the doors of the shops on this site, and into making the directory better and more complete. We think a directory that helps farm shops thrive is worth more than a quick margin, and we'd rather earn your trust first.
We'll keep this honest: we're a small operation, we use a handful of well-known providers (Stripe for payments, so your card details never touch us), and we'll always tell you plainly what we collect and why. If we ever change the profit commitment above, we'll say so openly.
